Human rights groups benefit from Soros money
    Oklahoma Star
    Wednesday 8th September, 2010

George Soros has given a fair chunk of his money to a human rights group.

The beneficiary of $100 million is Human Rights Watch, which has received the money from the well known billionaire and backer of liberal causes.

Soros has asked that the grant be used to draw international attention to human rights violations in some 90 countries.

Soros has referred to Human Rights Watch as: "One of the most effective organizations I support. Human rights underpin our greatest aspirations: they’re at the heart of open societies."
